Jonathan's Reopening Sept 3, 2012

Jonathan's is now closed

The remodel is done and at 4 PM, Tuesday, September 4th,  the doors will be open. Click here to check out the new happy hour menu and click here to check out the new main menu.

"Our plans with the city and OLCC have been approved and we are set for our remodel of Jonathan's in late August.

We will be closed from Sunday August 26th, through Monday September 3rd. Yes, I know you and everyone else will ask, "Didn't you just do a huge remodel?" Well, the answer of course is yes, but we've also listened to what our patrons are wanting. So, to better serve our patrons, we are expanding our bar, getting rid of fine dining and completely revamping our menus towards that of a Pub/Publick House.

We will be installing new wood floors on both sides, opening up the wall between the bar and the dining room making it more enjoyable for everyone and having one entrance, instead of two. (The old dining room side is being cut up into 1/3 and 2/3, the front 1/2 part being a new and separate retail business that I am super excited about! Details will be forthcoming.)

So our new menus will debut on our soft opening September 4th, with a grand reopening planned for sometime in late September.
New lunch, dinner, appetizer/small bites and happy hour menus!!"

We'll miss the fine dining. But Casey is an astute an customer service oriented business man. You can bet this will improve his business.

Will we be seeing Poutine Casey? It would be a great HH item and it's a mark-up hogger!

Smart move. The bar is nice but too small. The dining room was quiet and awkward. This is a great move. I think they will do well.

Casey did an awesome job on the remodel. Tried the fondue and it is probably the best in Salem.
