Broken Bread

Eat Broken Bread!

Broken Bread is now closed

Thanks to Doug Davault's comment on Morton's Bistro closing, Eatsalem has learned a new eatery will be moving into Morton's space in west Salem.

Click here to read their blog and watch their progress as they shoot for a fall opening. We wish you well, Doug and Adam!

Thanks so much for the kind words. We are really excited to bring Adam's passion for cooking to his own kitchen. A lot of you will recognize Adam from Morton's and The Silver Grille.

Our goal is to bring the freshest local ingredients to Salem diners using a limited fixed menu and a menu of daily specials that will change based on what's in season and available locally.

Our mission will be quality over quantity, sustainable and responsible over mass marketed and mass produced and what we believe is a good value for your dining dollar.

Ommigosh Adam I'm so excited! I just heard! My friend and I are coming tomorrow for lunch post-final exam. This looks like a perfect blend of palate pleasing and brain teasing (i.e. brain food) scrumptiousness. I used to work with Adam, and I know he will not disappoint! Hurrah!

Adam is an amazing chef- he used to work at Word of Mouth cooking dinner, and his food was to die for.
