Oh, this email IS a bit tardy, Prudent Revelers, but lately Ms. Prudie has been utterly engrossed by her extensive study into the cosmic intricacies of the Zodiac.*
[*Editor’s note: She read her horoscope in the paper last Tuesday.]
For example, did you know that, astrologically speaking, October is a veritable hotbed of celestial phenomena for all twelve signs? Oh, my, yes. Throughout the month, every single one of the classical five elements --- Fire, Gin, Diamonds, and Gin--- align themselves into perfectly equal quadruplicities that balance Greek constellations with Roman numerals and Daylight Savings Time to sprinkle peace and harmony throughout the universe.*
[*Ed’s. Note: Ye gods.]
Which makes it intuitively obvious, does it not, why both Boss's Day and Halloween occur during the lunar cycles of Jupiter and Yoga? Except in Brazil, but— tra-la—that goes without saying!
[*Ed’s. Note: Our sincere apologies for the absurd inaccuracies reflected in this…]
