  10. Le Capitale gets my vote for something different Salem needed. Great appetizers and bar area for Happy Hour small get together, and fairly affordable upscale meals in a downtown space.

Word of Mouth is a good runner up. Salem loves a breakfast spot.

  22. Word of Mouth #1 - Why? Just a really good place overall. Food and atmosphere. I've only been there for breakfast.

La Capitale #2 - Why? I either love or hate the food there, but I do appreciate the whole package.

Christo #3 - Why? Been going there for years, but I love the new location. When I am in the wine/gourmet pie mood. They now have better hours and my wife loves a nice glass of wine.

SFNY Pizza #4 - Why? I have been going there for 20 some years and in the past they were only open 12-5 weekdays only. Trying to get a slice wasn't easy. Now they are open seven days a week at three different shops. This is a big deal for a new yorker stuck on the west coast, that loves his slices.
