Thank You Mr. Kwan

I've been under the weather recently. It's too bad because the weather has been so beautiful lately. What I needed to get better was a jump start, a taste of something that would give me some hope of recovery. Enter my lovely wife through the front door with a piping hot styrofoam container of Kwan's hot and sour soup. Just what my sleepy taste buds needed to make the rest of my body enthusiastic about getting up and moving. This was not the best soup by any means but it was the right soup for my mood. It's almost like jump starting your car after the battery dies. Once I was up, I was able to run an errand or two and generate enough energy to write this post. Here's the weird part. My fortune cookie said "Today is a good time to take some extra relaxation." What a coincidence, since I took the last couple of days off work laying in bed with this illness. I'm starting to feel better now and will probably be back at work tomorrow.

Yay for Kwan's soup's restorative powers and yay for she who brought the soup home!

I usually enjoy Miso soup or Wonton Soup when I'm down and out, but I guess you can use Hot and Sour, too. :)
