La Capitale News

La Capitale is now closed
This is a copy and paste from an email sent by David Rosales the owner at La Capitale.

La Capitale will be closing for one week beginning on Labor Day, September 7-14.  We want to give our staff a small break and also work on our new banquet space we are building next door in the old Razzle Dazzle space. We will reopen on September 15 for normal lunch and dinner service.
Amity Vineyards "9's" Dinner at La Capitale Saturday, September 19th

So, in reference to the Statesman's Mid Valley Food Blog, I saw something that made me excited. It looks like there may be cooking classes at La Capitale. Awesome!! I think I want to do an Entertain Me Salem article on the Calendar about cooking classes in Salem. Anyone know of any others?

I've had three great experiences at La Capitale. I liked the food and intimate space and have been glad to see them doing well and helping improve Salem's dinner and appetizer scene. Hope they don't over-expand too quickly...
