Finally!
Lise and I have been wanting to go to a tasting at Santiam Wine Co. for nearly a year and on Friday evening we finally did it.
Their newsletter describes the wine tasting as follows:
"Tre Bicchieri (“three glasses”) wines! These are the top scoring wines from Italy! Including: Barolo, Brunello & Barbaresco. the super B’s - and more!"
The two of us shared the tasting of the six wines, which worked out quite well. Bread, cheese (Willamette Valley), olive oil, balsamic vinegar and a dip were available to munch on. Plus good conversation in a friendly atmosphere. A great way to try wines you would otherwise never get a chance to sample--especially the $93 bottle!
