Doubletime Online

As if I needed more stuff to do, I've created another webpage for Salem called salemites.com. It's purpose is to connect all the online voices around Salem and allow people to share ideas and information freely. Connecting everyone's websites will increase the audience of people writing about their experiences in the capitol city. If you don't have a web page or blog, but would like to participate, you can still sign up and be heard. Here's how it works and why you should join this web ring.

  • Sign up, send me an email at eatsalem@gmail.com
  • Let me know the web address of your site and I'll put it in the list of sites already online. When you update your blog it will update on salemites.com and you will be at the top of the list, until someone else updates their blog.
  • I'll send you the ability to post directly onto salemites.com. This will make you a member of the site through the Blogger platform. You may already have a Blogger account, if not, just sign in, it's easy.
  • If you don't have a site and would still like to join, send me an email and we'll sign you up so you can write directly onto salemites.com.
  • If you'd like to put a salemites.com badge/widget on your own site go to this link for instruction of how to do it.
  • Once you're signed up email your friends and have them sign up.
With growing participation, web traffic to all the joined sites should increase. When people discover one blog, it's like discovering all of them. Don't worry about losing readers to competition, working with each other, we'll increase web traffic for everyone.

If you've always wanted to write a blog but were afraid nobody would read it or you don't want the hassle of maintaining a blog, this is the perfect solution for you. It's as easy as signing in and writing.

Like the internet, salemites.com is an ever evolving project with new ideas and innovations being implemented often. Your feedback will always be heard and considered. It's easy and fun and we look forward to hearing your voice soon.
