I dont think Little Cannoli Bakery should be considered for this award. It isnt really a restaurant. Just my opinion tho. It doesnt fit with the theme of the poll.

ReplyDeleteDa Vinci's is overpriced for what you actually get, and I have gotten not so great food there, and snobby service.
Aren't there two La Hacienda Real's?

My boss took my co-workers and I to Rudy's for a Christmas gift last week. I thought it was excellent. I'll write a review and post it.

ReplyDeleteIt will be very embarrassing for Salem if La Hacienda Real wins. I love Mexican food, but this place just gives you a lot of slop.

In my opinion the poll should be category specific; i.e., Chinese, Mexican, Italian, American, Asian, BBQ, buffet, cafe, coffee, deli, pubs, bakery, Japanese, pizza, seafood, steak, Thai, Vietnamese, Mediterranean/Greek, breakfast, burgers & best place for kids, etc. Out of 6 choices there are 2 pizza places on this poll alone!

ReplyDeleteYou have to fill out a certain percentage of the categories to have your form accepted. How many people have favorites in more than 4 or 5 categories? I know we don't. The one time I tried filling out the form, I ended up nominating places I'd heard about from friends and at work. Then I couldn't bring myself to enter it.
I think Kwan's is the best ever. Why isn't it on the list?
