One of the owners of the Bigfoot Bar and Grill gave me a behind the curtain tour of their much anticipated, new, local restaurant. Construction has taken awhile and people are wondering what's going on. Here's the deal, they're very concerned about making the dining room and bar look and feel just right. They had some problems with a contractor that delayed the opening and they added more square footage. The owner was emphasizing to me that they do not want to open before they are completely satisfied with menu and the look of the restaurant. The plan is not to open until they are absolutely ready which will be no later than

How does a restaurant that hasn't even opened yet have "world famous burgers"?
Hyperbole like that doesn't exactly gain my respect.
maybe because its a franchise?
If it's a franchise I haven't heard or seen it before. No web site listings for a franchise.
Thanks for checking into the stalled opening :>)
That's quite a delay.
Mmmmm, local beef!
Maybe they're famous around the world? ;)
M a y b e -
their world consists of friends and family, for whom they've been cooking these burgers for years and years. :>D
What I want to know is what happened to Charley's? It's all covered up now. Did they not make it?
evidently not. :>(
They had distributed coupons at my work and came back in to leave a note saying they were closed.
I drove by early this morning and noticed that there's a new top portion of the sign, "Monahgan's II" (I think that's the correct spelling.). Anyone know what's happening?
There is a Bigfoot restaurant in Seaside, OR. My wife and I ate there once and it was GREAT! My sandwich was wonderful but her burger was even better.
My wife and I went to Bigfoots the other night and got food to go. For $6 we got about 6 burned onion rings. The burger was better, but nothing to much different than anyone else's. The Bigfoot draft beer although cheap at $1.50 tastes like it was appropriately priced. The waitress at the next table was apologizing over and over to that table because they had screwed up their food orders so bad. Bottom line Bigfoot's better get their act together or they will go under also. Right now they are new and people are curious, but repeat business is what it is about and they won't have any at this rate.
